The Setup

This is the ultimate survival tune for the final years of the Green/Blue connector P59 ECM. This 05–07 LS Derby Tune is built to handle the absolute highest levels of heat and abuse. While other cars are shutting down or going into "limp mode," my calibration keeps your engine firing until the very last hit.

I’ve specifically stripped out the "nanny" features GM programmed into these later-model computers, giving you total control when the arena gets ugly.

⚠️ Backwoods Tip: 2007 "Classic" vs. "New Body"

It is critical to know which 2007 you have before ordering:

• The "Classic" (Fits this ECM): This is the older 99–07 body style. It uses the Green/Blue connector P59 ECM located on the driver-side fender.

• The "New Body" (Does NOT fit): This is the rounded GMT900 body style. It uses a much smaller E38 ECM.

• Easy Check: If your 2007 truck has the P59 ECM with the Green/Blue plugs, this is the tune you need!

Derby-Specific Performance Adjustments

• Extreme Heat Management: Calibrated to keep the engine pulling power even at extreme temperatures.

• Brake Torque Management Disabled: Removed the "stall" protection so the computer won't kill your power when you’re pushing while on the brakes.

• Knock Sensors Removed: All knock sensor logic is disabled so the computer won't retard timing due to the metal-on-metal noise of the derby.

• Optimized Shifting: Firmer, more aggressive shift points to keep you in the power band.

• Security & Codes: VATS Disabled and all unnecessary junk codes are permanently removed.

• Instant Throttle: Meticulously adjusted for immediate pedal response.
