What We Do

At Backwoods Racing LLC, we build simplified standalone wiring harnesses for demolition derby, circle track racing, and off-road builds, along with performance ECM tuning and mail-in programming services. Everything we offer is designed to be reliable, easy to install, and easy to service when you're in the pits and on the clock.

Our systems are built specifically for race and derby environments where durability and simplicity matter more than factory complexity. We specialize in GM LS, Vortec, GM V6, Ecotec, and Dodge/Ford platforms commonly used in derby and race builds.

⚡ DEMOLITION DERBY SIMPLIFIED STANDALONE WIRING HARNESSES

Factory wiring is built for street cars. We build for the pit. Our simplified standalone wiring harnesses are designed for demolition derby, circle track racing, and stripped-down race builds. Each system removes unnecessary factory components and gives you a clean, reliable setup that’s easy to install and easy to troubleshoot mid-event.

💻 ECM TUNING & IMMOBILIZER / SECURITY DELETE SERVICES

Stock ECM programming wasn’t written with a derby car in mind. Our mail-in ECM tuning service is built for demolition derby, circle track, and off-road applications. We remove factory restrictions, improve drivability for race setups, and calibrate the engine for how it’s actually being used.

PATS / VATS / SKIM - Immobilizer & Anti-Theft Deletes

We provide immobilizer and security system removal services, including SKIM removal (Dodge/Chrysler), VATS delete (GM), and PATS delete (Ford). These services are designed to fix common no-start and start-and-stall issues caused by missing factory keys, clusters, or security modules.

STANDALONE - Software-Level Unlocks

If your build is locked out due to factory anti-theft systems, we disable those protections at the software level so the engine can run standalone without factory components.
