These are purpose-built performance ECMs engineered for simplified operation and maximum output. We strip the "brain" down to the bare essentials, removing the factory red tape and anti-theft locks so you can focus on the green flag.

This Meltdown Tuned ECM is a direct fit for 3100, 3400, and 3800 Series II/III engines found in:

• Chevrolet: Lumina (1998–2001), Monte Carlo (1998–2005), Impala (2000–2005)

• Pontiac: Grand Prix (1998–2003), Grand Am (1999–2005)

• Buick: Century, Regal, LeSabre (1998–2005)

• Oldsmobile: Alero, Intrigue (1999–2004)

🔥 Calibration Overview

We don't just delete security; we overhaul the entire strategy for aggressive competition use:

• Security Removed: Full VATS/anti-theft delete for instant starting.

• Sensor Deletes: MAF, Intake Air Temp (IAT), O2 Sensor, and EGR strategies completely removed.

• Performance Optimization: Recalibrated timing, idle, MAP, fueling, and rev limiters for high-performance use.

• Limp-Mode Prevention: Engineered to stay in the fight even when conditions get extreme.

⚙️ Operating Compatibility

These ECMs are designed to work with both modified factory harnesses and simplified standalone setups.

1. Stock Harness Operation (Modified): To run this ECM on a factory harness, you must unplug the following sensors for proper operation:

• MAF Sensor

• EGR System

• Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor

• Coolant Temperature Sensor

2. Simplified Harness Setup: Fully compatible with stripped-down or custom standalone harnesses. If using a harness not supplied by Backwoods Racing, ensure the IAT and Coolant Temp sensors remain disconnected.
