If you are installing this P71 P7B-spec ECM into a Civilian model (Grand Marquis/Town Car), keep these final-gen factory differences in mind:

Starter Solenoid Ground: Most civilian models require you to manually ground the starter solenoid to bypass the P71 P7B neutral safety logic. If it doesn't crank, you'll need to ground the starter relay at the fuse box to the chassis.

MAF Calibration: This file is specifically calibrated for the 80mm P71 / P7B Police Airbox/MAF. Using the smaller civilian intake will cause the engine to run lean. For peak performance, we recommend the P71 / P7B 80mm housing.

PATS Disabled: No-start security issues are completely removed for a true plug-and-play start.
Electronic Throttle Tuning: Meticulously adjusted for instant throttle response (removes factory "dead" pedal lag).
