🏁 The Interceptor Upgrade: What You Need to Know
If you are installing this P71-spec ECM into a Civilian model (Grand Marquis/Town Car), please be aware of these factory differences:
Starter Solenoid Ground: Most civilian models require you to manually ground the starter solenoid to bypass the internal neutral safety switch logic. If the car won't crank after plugging in the new ECM, you must ground the starter relay to the chassis.
MAF Calibration: This file is calibrated for the 80mm P71 Police Airbox/MAF. If you run the smaller civilian intake, the car will run lean. For peak performance, we recommend swapping to the P71 80mm MAF housing.

PATS Disabled: Anti-theft security removed for true plug-and-play operation.
Throttle Response: Meticulously adjusted to eliminate the "dead" pedal feel of factory Drive-by-Wire.
