🏁 The Interceptor Upgrade: What You Need to Know

If you are installing this P71-spec ECM into a Civilian model (Grand Marquis/Town Car), please keep these critical factory differences in mind:

• Starter Solenoid Ground: Most civilian models require you to manually ground the starter solenoid to bypass the internal neutral safety switch logic used in the P71 file. If the car won't crank after installation, you must ground the starter relay to the chassis.

• MAF Calibration: This P71 file is calibrated specifically for the 80mm Police Airbox/MAF. Running this tune with the smaller civilian intake will cause the engine to run lean. For peak performance, swap to the P71 80mm housing.
