🏁 The Interceptor Upgrade: Critical Info
If you are installing this P71-spec ECM into a Civilian model (Grand Marquis/Town Car), please note these factory differences:
Starter Solenoid Ground: Most civilian models require you to manually ground the starter solenoid to bypass the internal neutral safety switch logic found in the P71 file. If it won't crank after plugging in, you need to fix the ground.
MAF Calibration: This file is calibrated for the P71 80mm airbox. If you are running the smaller civilian intake/MAF sensor, the car may run lean. For peak performance, we recommend swapping to the P71 80mm MAF housing.

PATS Disabled: No-start security issues are completely removed for a true standalone-style start.
